 North Andrew and Grand View Christian are getting ready to tip off at the 12 Courts of Christmas.

1st Quarter
GVC on an 11-2 run to start the game.  North Andrew having a hard time with their pressure.  5:27 left in 1st.

Game clock is wi-fI and is lagging the one on the scorers table. In game action, GVC still leading, now up 20-7 with 2:10 left (I think).

North Andrew having trouble with Grand View Christian’s speed, height, pressure and shooting.  GVC leads 26-7 with1:27 left in 1st.

North Andrew with a nice little scoring sport at the end.  They trail 30-15 at the end of 1st.

Ecker with 6, Graham 4, McDaniel 3 and Linville 2 for North Andrew.

2nd Quarter
North Andrew with a timeout at 3:33.  GVC not letting up.  They lead 42-17.

North Andrew plays even with GVC the rest of the quarter.  They trail 48-23 at the half.

Ecker leads with 6, Graham has 5, Linville with 4, McDaniel and Simmons have 3 and Patterson has 2 for North Andrew.  

3rd Quarter
GVC picks up where they left off with a 9-3 run to start the the third.  5 min left in 3rd.  57-26 GVC.

North Andrew able to hit a few threes, but GVC extends the lead to 70-34.

Linville and Ecker have 9, Simmons has 6, Graham with5, McDaniel 3 and Patterson 2.

4th Quarter
Running clock in the 4th quarter doesn’t provide as much opportunity, but North Andrew able to add to their point total.  Grand View Christian wins 84-46.

Bell Game Rivalry joins the GRC

by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com It's a mere 12 miles that separate Brookfield High School and Marceline High School, as per Google Maps.  But what's truly remarkable is the 54-year hiatus since these two schools last clashed in a conference football game. Brookfield and Marceline were both in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC) in 1970.  In 1970, the NCMC decided to fold.  A new conference with the same name would be organized,  Brookfield remained in a revamped NCMC from 1971 to 1975 before going independent until 1986, when they joined the Tri-Rivers Conference.  They jumped to the Clarence Cannon Conference (CCC) in 2010. Marceline was in the Northern Missouri Conference from 1971 to 1974 before joining the Lewis & Clark Conference in 1975, where they would be members for almost 50 years.
