  by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com Boys Wrestling held their Districts this weekend and 26 wrestlers from the GRC advanced to State including Five that won district.  They will be competing at Mizzou Arena in Columbia on February 22-23. Trenton finished 3rd in Class 1 District 3 with 121.5 points.  Gallatin finished 10th and Polo finished 12th. Maysville finished 2nd in Class 1 District 4 with 175 points. South Harrison finished 4th and Albany finished 11th.  Stanberry and North Andrew came in at 14th and 15th, respectively. Here is a list of all of the GRC wrestlers that advanced to State: Class 1 District 2 Avery Clark , Trenton (140 lbs) - She finished 3rd with a win over Ayla Castaneda of Marshall.  The win over Castaneda avenged an earlier loss in the quarterfinals in which Castaneda had defeated her. Class 1 District 4 Valorie Gabrielli , Polo (145 lbs) - She finished 1st with a win over Isabel Foster of Benton.   by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com The Trenton Bulldogs won the Boys Wrestling Championships and the Polo Panthers won the Girls Wrestling Championship on Saturday, January 28 at South Harrison High School.  For both of them, it was the second consecutive conference title.  It was also the second conference championship for both of them overall. Trenton boys finished with 151.5 points.  Maysville was 2nd with 140.5.  On the girls side, Polo won going away with 154 points.  Gallatin finished 2nd with 34 points.
