1st Quarter
North Andrew having a hard time with Skutt’s press early.  Reagan Walker with an early bucket for North Andrew, but Skutt has converted turnovers into points.  Skutt leads 7-2 with 5:27 left in the quarter.

Cassidy Brittian with a couple bucket for North Andrew to close within 1, but back to back threes fuel an 8-0 run for Skutt.  They are up 15-6 with 2:20 left.

Full court press and 3-point shooting big for Skutt in the quarter.  They close strong and lead North Andrew 21-8.

Cassidy Brittian leads North Andrew with 4.  Reagan Walker and Madison Ecker have 2 each.

2nd Quarter
Skutt’s pressure continuing to give North Andrew problems. Skutt scores first 9 of the quarter and leads 30-8 with 6:00 min left.

Skutt’s pressure, ball movement and 3-point shooting has been textbook today.   North Andrew does not have an answer.  Skutt leads 41-12 at the half.

Riley Walker and Makenna Goldizen with 2 points each in the quarter.

3rd Quarter
Low scoring so far in the 3rd quarter.  Skutt has called off the press.  They have hit a couple of threes in the half court offense and outscored North Andrew 6-2 this quarter. 2:30 left.

North Andrew with a 6-2 run to end the quarter.  They trail 49-20 after 3.

Riley Walker with 6, Cassidy Brittian and Madison Ecker have 5 each.

4th Quarter
Last quarter also played fairly even.  Final score is Skutt 58 North Andrew 27.

Bell Game Rivalry joins the GRC

by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com It's a mere 12 miles that separate Brookfield High School and Marceline High School, as per Google Maps.  But what's truly remarkable is the 54-year hiatus since these two schools last clashed in a conference football game. Brookfield and Marceline were both in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC) in 1970.  In 1970, the NCMC decided to fold.  A new conference with the same name would be organized,  Brookfield remained in a revamped NCMC from 1971 to 1975 before going independent until 1986, when they joined the Tri-Rivers Conference.  They jumped to the Clarence Cannon Conference (CCC) in 2010. Marceline was in the Northern Missouri Conference from 1971 to 1974 before joining the Lewis & Clark Conference in 1975, where they would be members for almost 50 years.
