Grand River Conference

by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com Gallatin Bulldogs won their 3rd consecutive GRC Boys Golf Championship on Monday at Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe.  They finished two strokes ahead of 2nd Place South Harrison.  Gallatin has now won 15 conference titles (all since 1998). St. Joseph Christian won their first-ever conference title in Boys Golf at the GRC West Championship on Monday at Cameron Veteran's Memorial Golf Course.  They finished six strokes ahead of 2nd Place Stanberry. Brody Bird of Gallatin, who shot a 71 at the GRC Championship, and Levi Lindley of St. Joseph Christian, who shot an 86 at the GRC West Championship, were the individual champions. Photo courtesy of Rita Hildebrand Both teams will host their State Quarterfinal meets on April 23 at 5pm.  King City will play Linn County while Polo will take on Schuyler County. A win in the quarterfinals will earn them a berth in the Final Four on May 3 in Columbia at Mizzou.   Polo is looking for their 4th Final Four in Scholar Bowl and 1st since 2022 when they finished 4th. King City has never been to the Final Four in Scholar Bowl.
