Albany, North Andrew and South Harrison Girls capture District Championships in Basketball

Albany, North Andrew, and South Harrison captured district titles in Girls Basketball on Friday

Class 1 District 15

North Andrew defeated King City 26-24 to win the Class 1 District 15 Championship.  It is the Lady Cardinals' 2nd straight District Championship.  They also defeated King City in the district championship game last year.

Briley Rainez led the Lady Cardinals with 12.  Lillian Richardson had 9.

Class 2 District 16

Albany defeated Maysville 43-31 to win the Class 2 District 16 Championship.  It is the Lady Warriors' first District Championship since 2000.  

Jayden Hillyard led Albany with 13 points.  Maddix and Kennedi Epperly each had 11.

Class 3 District 16

South Harrison defeated Lawson 43-42 to win the Class 3 District 16 Championship.  It is the Lady Bulldogs' 2nd straight District Championship and their 3rd in four years.

Lexi Hunter led South Harrison with 13 points.  Brylee Sherrill had 12.
