Multiple GRC teams capture tournament titles

Six GRC and GRC West teams captured tournament titles this past week.

Lawson Tournament
Gallatin Boys defeated West Platte 49-30 to capture their first Lawson Tournament championship since 2021.  The win also snapped a four-game losing streak vs West Platte.

Milan Tournament
Marceline Girls defeated Milan 58-27 to win their 2nd consecutive Milan Tournament championship.  Marceline has won 5 of their last 6 games vs. Milan.

South Harrison Tournament
South Harrison Girls defeated North Harrison 63-25 to win their 3rd consecutive South Harrison Tournament championship. South Harrison has won 3 straight games vs North Harrison.

WildCard Tournament
Maysville Boys defeated Stewartsville-Osborn 63-59 to win the WildCard Tournament.  This is the first year that Maysville participated in the tournament.  The win avenges a loss that Maysville suffered to Stewartsville-Osborn six days earlier at the Hoosier Gym in Indiana.

Stanberry Tournament
Stanberry Girls defeated Albany 52-43 to win the Stanberry Tournament for the first time since 2019.  Stanberry is 2-0 vs Albany on the season.

King City Boys defeated Platte Valley 49-33 to win the Stanberry Tournament for the first time since 2010. King City has won 3 out of 4 vs Platte Valley and avenged a loss in last year's Stanberry Tournament championship game.
