Based on a poll conducted with the coaches of the GRC and GRC West, Maysville and St. Joseph Christian are expected to be crowned as conference champions this season.
GRC
Maysville and Putnam County split the GRC championship last season, and the race is expected tobe as tight this season. Both had four first-place votes, but Maysville edged out Putnam County in points. Polo received one first-place vote and is the coaches' pick to finish third.Gallatin is a newcomer to the conference race this season after playing in a co-op with Tri-County in the past. Brookfield and Marceline will also be playing their first season in the GRC.
St. Joseph Christian is the coaches' pick to win the GRC West. The Lions are two-time defending champions looking to become the first baseball team in either conference to accomplish the three-peat.

King City and Albany both received one first-place vote and were picked to finish second and third, respectively.
Pattonsburg rejoins the conference race this season after playing in a co-op with Gilman City hosting last season. Stanberry will be in their first year as a program this season.
