2023 GRC Showcase Scenarios - By Team - GRC East Boys

In a previous blog post, I shared the GRC Showcase Scenarios by order of finish.

Here is the alternate view by team for GRC East Boys:

Note that they scenarios are unofficial.  No results are official until an announcement from the Conference office.

Gallatin

  • If Gallatin defeats Milan, they will finish #1
  • If Gallatin loses to Milan, they will finish #2
Milan
  • If Milan defeats Gallatin, they will finish #1
  • If Milan loses to Gallatin, they will finish #2
Maysville
  • If Maysville defeats Princeton, they will finish #3
  • If Maysville loses to Princeton and Trenton defeats Putnam County, they will finish #4
  • If Maysville loses to Princeton and Putnam County defeats Trenton, then there is a 3-way tie for #3 through #5 between Maysville, Princeton and Putnam County that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them
Putnam County
  • If Maysville defeats Princeton, they will finish #4
  • If Putnam County loses to Trenton and Princeton defeats Maysville, they will finish #5
  • If Putnam County defeats Trenton and Princeton defeats Maysville, then there is a 3-way tie for #3 through #5 between Maysville, Princeton and Putnam County that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them
Princeton
  • If Princeton defeats Maysville and Trenton defeats Putnam County, they will finish #3
  • If Princeton loses to Maysville, they will finish #5
  • If Princeton defeats Maysville and Putnam County defeats Trenton, then there is a 3-way tie for #3 through #5 between Maysville, Princeton and Putnam County that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them
South Harrison
  • If South Harrison defeats Polo, they will finish #6
  • If South Harrison loses to Polo and Trenton defeats Putnam County, they will finish #8
  • If South Harrison loses to Polo and Putnam County defeats Trenton, then there is a 3-way tie for #6 through #8 between Polo, South Harrison and Trenton that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them
Trenton
  • If Trenton defeats Putnam County and Polo defeats South Harrison, they will finish #6
  • If South Harrison defeats Polo, they will finish #7
  • If Trenton loses to Putnam County and Polo defeats South Harrison, then there is a 3-way tie for #6 through #8 between Polo, South Harrison and Trenton that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them
Polo
  • If Polo defeats South Harrison and Trenton defeats Putnam County, they will finish #7
  • If Polo loses to South Harrison
  • If Polo defeats South Harrison and Putnam County defeats Trenton, then there is a 3-way tie for #6 through #8 between Polo, South Harrison and Trenton that will be broken by scoring margin in the games between each of them

Bell Game Rivalry joins the GRC

by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com It's a mere 12 miles that separate Brookfield High School and Marceline High School, as per Google Maps.  But what's truly remarkable is the 54-year hiatus since these two schools last clashed in a conference football game. Brookfield and Marceline were both in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC) in 1970.  In 1970, the NCMC decided to fold.  A new conference with the same name would be organized,  Brookfield remained in a revamped NCMC from 1971 to 1975 before going independent until 1986, when they joined the Tri-Rivers Conference.  They jumped to the Clarence Cannon Conference (CCC) in 2010. Marceline was in the Northern Missouri Conference from 1971 to 1974 before joining the Lewis & Clark Conference in 1975, where they would be members for almost 50 years.
