GRC Showcase Spectator Information

2022 Grand River Conference Basketball Showcase Spectator Info 

When: Saturday, February 12th 
Where: Milan C-2 School District ( 373 S Market St, Milan, MO 63556 ) 

Guest/Spectator Parking: 
  • Guests/Spectator parking is located in several different areas on the Milan Campus. You can park in the North Gravel Lot, Paved East Lot or along Market Street. (See Map Below)
  • The only spectator entrance for the games is located at the East Cafeteria Doors. (See Map Below)
  • Teams/Buses will park behind the building in the West Gravel Parking Lot. No fans will be allowed to enter from this location.  
Spectator/Fan Information:
  • Admission Cost: Adults $5 Students/Children-$3
  • Conference Passes: ARE NOT ACCEPTED
  • Pass List: Each school is to have submitted a pass list. Anyone not on this pass list will be charged the $5 admission fee.
  • Re-Admittance: Each fan leaving the event must request with the Gate Workers if they wish to re-enter the event without being charged the initial admittance fee.
  • There will be a wide variety of concessions available in the cafeteria and other locations near the gyms. (See Menu Below)
GRC Showcase T-Shirt Sales: 
  • T-Shirts will be for sale throughout the day in the Cafeteria while supplies last. 
GRC Basketball Team Information
  • Eastern Division Teams are Home Team on the Scoreboards & will be wearing home whites. Western Division Teams are Guests on the scoreboard & wearing away uniforms. 
NFHS Live-Stream 
  • For those that cannot attend in-person: NFHS Network will live-stream games via automated cameras in both gyms with a paid subscription. Milan currently has no attendance restrictions. ( https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/milan-high-school-milan-mo )

Bell Game Rivalry joins the GRC

by Jeremy Benson, GrandRiverConference.com It's a mere 12 miles that separate Brookfield High School and Marceline High School, as per Google Maps.  But what's truly remarkable is the 54-year hiatus since these two schools last clashed in a conference football game. Brookfield and Marceline were both in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC) in 1970.  In 1970, the NCMC decided to fold.  A new conference with the same name would be organized,  Brookfield remained in a revamped NCMC from 1971 to 1975 before going independent until 1986, when they joined the Tri-Rivers Conference.  They jumped to the Clarence Cannon Conference (CCC) in 2010. Marceline was in the Northern Missouri Conference from 1971 to 1974 before joining the Lewis & Clark Conference in 1975, where they would be members for almost 50 years.
